As far as we know, this was the first publicly verifiable court case in Europe where AI was demonstrably and responsibly used in case preparation. While other AI tools made headlines for hallucinated citations and court sanctions, Andri delivered verified research that held up in the courtroom. What if a court requires AI disclosure, what does Andri provide?

The solicitor takes the lead. Whether or not you disclose AI use to the court is a professional judgment you make yourself. There is no general SRA duty today to disclose AI-tool use, although the Civil Justice Council has proposed a declaration where AI helped prepare or generate evidence the court relies on. Andri keeps strict privacy: we do not share anything about your use with third parties. What we do provide if you choose to disclose: a per-matter audit trail of which questions were asked, which sources were consulted, and which output was generated. That can be filed as an appendix to a disclosure statement. You retain final responsibility for verifying every citation.

Is full European digital sovereignty even possible?

Honest answer: not fully, not yet. The entire technology stack is largely US-owned. Chips and GPUs come from Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA. Networking hardware mostly from Cisco. The colocation layer has been bought up by Equinix and Iron Mountain. The cloud layer is roughly 70% AWS, Azure, and Google, while European providers together hold under 15% and have slipped further since 2017 from 29%. 'Sovereignty' is more complex than a marketing label.

What we do: Andri is a Dutch company and today runs on AWS, like virtually every serious SaaS player. We hold the highest standard on the layers we actually control: customer-managed encryption keys, end-to-end encryption, strict access controls, ISO 27001 certified by Kiwa, written into our security policy and independently audited by NCC Group. We deliberately choose providers that don't train on client data and we keep operational control within the EU. We track initiatives like European Sovereign Cloud closely. Honestly, we don't yet see a single provider that has all infrastructure within the EU, carries no foreign investors, has written into its own articles of association that it cannot be sold to a foreign party, AND offers the complete service catalogue you need to build a serious legal AI stack on. Much of what calls itself 'sovereign' today is mostly working groups and intent. We switch as soon as a layer legally and operationally adds real value.

Transparent on cost: if we ever move fully to an EU stack, prices will almost certainly go up. The US hyperscalers collectively invest hundreds of billions per year in their infrastructure (AWS alone $100B in 2025), giving them volume economics no EU player can match yet. We make that trade-off visible, not silent.
